Ciara had her second visit to the dermatologists today up at Crumlin to see about her post-chemo lack of hair. Her last visit was about 6 months ago and we were going to observe for the summer. Well the summer's over and we've seen a bit of activity on the follicle front but it's still pretty slow. So Dr Watson (for that was her name), suggested we try Minoxidil (street name: "Regaine"). We've a prescription for that so hopefully that will be something we'll be able to get on her medical card otherwise I'm kicking up a fuss. It's not like she's some vain insecure middle age man with male pattern baldness, she's a little girl.
While we were waiting in the doctors office, we mucked about with the camera. It was just myself and Ciara and we had an excellent giggle. I'm sure all the sick or serious people walking outside the office wondered what on earth was going on. Enjoy the pics.
